Dear Colleagues,

Welcome to the website for the 2013 Gold Standard Awards. Now in their fifth year the awards are unrivalled in Asia Pacific - recognising excellence in spheres including corporate communications, stakeholder management, social media innovation and diplomatic engagement.

Entry numbers last year reached their highest ever level, with over 200 nominations across 15 categories. Among the toughest were corporate citizenship and stakeholder engagement, where entry numbers rose significantly.

Being shortlisted in this innovative programme is an achievement in itself. Securing a Gold Standard Award this year will be a further mark of success and will set your company, government agency, diplomatic mission or consultancy apart from its peers.

As the 2013 Gold Standard Awards chairman I encourage you to start thinking about the programmes, projects – and the people – you can nominate this year. By taking part you not only showcase your own gold standard performance but help promote wider knowledge sharing about the fundamentals of public affairs in this fast developing region.

This year we will further streamline the categories and criteria and announce full details of the awards programme and our judging panel on July 1. Nominations open in early August and your entries must be submitted by the end of September.
